Four Clients on Business Insider Online
According to the American Hotel & Lodging Association, there were 52,887 hotel properties with 15 or more rooms in America in 2013. But there are only 50 hotels in Business Insider’s 2015 ranking of the “50 Best Hotels in America” – and 4 of them are HIPR clients. Coming in at #32 is Montage Laguna Beach; at #22 is XV Beacon in Boston; at #10 is Solage Calistoga; and at #7 is Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage Resort. Nice showing.
Wilderness Safaris on Huffington Post
How high can Wilderness Safaris fly? All the way into Huffington Post’s coverage of the “15 Best Places for a Hot Air Balloon Safari in Africa.” The gorgeous travel feature by Lara Moses, headlined “Up, Up and Away,” highlighted Wilderness Safaris’ sky-high safari in Kafue National Park, Zambia, calling the Busanga Plains “the most exclusive hot air ballooning destination in Africa” with “spectacular wildlife, including thousands of red lechwe, puku, hippo and buffalo.” A pretty photo and a link accompanied the write up. Huff Post is a great spot for a plug, with VPM of 30,387,355.
Le Guanahani and Tradewind Aviation on Southern Bride Online
The wedding is planned. The invitations have been sent. Now, where to take that honeymoon? If you’re drawn to the French West Indies, Le Guanahani is the address. Lynn Walker, Editor and Publisher of Southern Bride, who joined HIPR on a group press trip to the resort in 2014, recently pegged Le Guanahani as the top honeymoon spot on St. Barth’s. The photo-heavy, October 3 article, “You Secret Honeymoon Destination – St. Barth’s, French West Indies,” highlighted Le Guanahani’s luxurious accommodations, spa, and variety of dining, as well as activities in the surrounding area. The piece also plugged Tradewind Aviation, another HIPR client, as the commuter service for “the best way” to get to St. Barth’s. Southern Bride is a popular online wedding and honeymoon outlet reaching more than 34,898 unique visitors each month.
Omni Homestead Resort in Virginia Golfer
When you run the golf program at The Omni Homestead Resort for many decades, you have a lot of golf wisdom to share. Virginia Golfer wanted to hear all about it, and Don Ryder, Director of Golf at the resort, complied. Writer NAME’s resulting Q&A cover story, “One Wild Ride” in the September/October 2015 issue, found Ryder in a chatty mood for four pages. With Ryder’s role at The Omni Homestead Resort having now reached emeritus status and his son, Barry, filling his golf shoes, the piece is nice coda to a magnificent golf career. Virginia Golfer is a good score, too, with circulation of 49,000 all of whom, we bet, love to read about golf.
