A Baker-in-Training’s Dozen in Modern Luxury for Madeline Hotel and Residences

The latest gear and current conditions aren’t the only things on the minds of ski journalists these days. The recent property-wide renovation of Madeline Hotel and Residences garnered positive prominence in a major ski feature in the October 2015 issue of not one, not two, nor three, nor four – but 11 regional Modern Luxury publications including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Miami, Orange County, San Diego, Scottsdale, and Washington, DC. We shared details of the renovation with Caitlin Johnson, PR Director of the Colorado Tourism Office, who passed them along to Misty Milioto, Contributing Editor of Modern Luxury, who featured the hotel in “Posh Powder,” a handsomely art directed, property-rich round up of new developments at major ski hotels across the west. Quintessential New England destinations like Chebeague Island Inn are perfect for fall editorial calendars, especially for the quintessential New England publication Yankee. We arranged for Senior Editor and native New Englander Ian Aldrich to experience the property and he returned with “Chebeague Island Inn/Late Fall Maine Getaway,” a lovely recap of his time at the Inn, with many photos and positive details. The article, which also mentioned Aldrich’s dinner at EVO, the Inn’s Portland-based sister restaurant, ran in the latest issue of Yankee as well as online. Both are good placements with 333,000 readers bimonthly for the magazine and 185,050 page views per month for the website.
