The holiday season is quickly approaching, and with it comes the pressure to find the perfect gift. We at Hawkins International are always quick to suggest the gift of travel, and we are never in want of having a new offering or destination to suggest.
This February, Le Guanahani in St. Barth will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary, and in honor of this celebration, will be offering a Wellness Weekend on site from February 4 – 7, 2016. The weekend, centered on relaxation and mindfulness, will begin even before guests arrive on property with a three-part meditation series that is designed to be enjoyed at home in preparation for the weekend.
Once on the island, guests will be immersed in an experience led by Dave Romanelli, a renowned yogi and meditation expert. Romanelli states “the Wellness Weekend at Le Guanahani will pull that plug by offering guests a getaway rich in meditation to deepen the unwinding process, highlight the senses, and experience beauty, happiness and relaxation as it should be.” Having made his mark in wellness with his yoga and chocolate, yoga and wine, and yoga for foodies workshops, Romanelli now seeks to make meditation more accessible…and delicious.
The weekend, though wellness-focused, will be nothing short of luxurious with culinary experiences from Executive Chef Nicola de Marchi such as warm Caribbean dark chocolate with a gingerbread and foie gras lollipop and organic wine tastings.
The Managing Director of Le Guanahani, Martein van Wagenberg, shares that “wellness is a growing travel trend that aligns with our philosophy and mission of offering guests fun, interactive and uplifting experiences.” So, this holiday season, give the gift of relaxation and enjoy a weekend in the beautiful St. Barth.
The Wellness Weekend with David Romanelli is scheduled for February 4 – 7, 2016. Package rates start at €3,000 in an Ocean Bay Room, including access to spa, fitness and tennis facilities; use of non-motorized watersports equipment; WiFi access; round-trip transfers from St. Barth’s airport/port; and 5% city tax and service charge.
